Hello, sugar covered marshmallow chickens! This email is basically the same as the previous one, just the sale is live now. :)
Check out the newest YouTube video celebrating 10 years of Hannah Alexander cross stitch designs:
Let's get the most time-pressed item out of the way first: there's a sale LIVE! The biggest sale I've ever had, I believe. Up to 50% off the applicable Hannah Alexander patterns in celebration of our 10 year anniversary!
If you go to the On Sale page the coupon, HannahDecade will run through the night of September 7th. It will give you $10 off ALL the patterns listed on the sale page.
Patterns that "sell out" because of the legacy Limited Edition system will be renewed as quickly as possible.
With this anniversary also comes a refreshing of all my patterns. The first two pages will be a Hints/Tips sort of page and a Social Links page with actual clickable spots! This was a new challenge for me but worth the effort.
I've gone through the earliest Hannah Alexander designs and reworked them, sometimes from the ground up. Moana and Tinkerbell stand out especially with brand new color palettes. The earliest trio (Belle, Rapunzel, and Merida) didn't get many color changes but did get an entire rework for their pattern readability.
The revamped patterns are a free upgrade - you do not have to repurchase anything to get the new colors or cleaner designs. I've set up a form you can fill out and I'll get you the upgraded PDFs as soon as I'm able. :)
I'm extremely pleased to welcome String Theory Needlearts as your new Make it Pink bead supplier! And thread supplier - and fabric supplier - and other goodies supplier! They are creating bespoke embellishment kits for my designs so you can purchase the correct amount of beads for your stitching in one swoop, rather than hunting down individual supplies on your own. They're currently shipping to the USA only, but perhaps you have a USA-based friend who could be your middleman?
In the future we hope to add thread embellishment kits too, like for Kreinik, Rainbow Gallery, and Threadworx. But for now we're focusing down on beads. :)
String Theory Needlearts can help you with any craft related special order, too. It doesn't hurt to reach out! Bobbin lace, needle felting supplies, polymer clay... whatever you need.

New Link Colors + Accessory Patterns
|
Since I've been heavily focused on revamping all the designs in preparation for the big sale, the new patterns are mostly old patterns. :)
But first, the Kodama! This is the first Early Access on Patreon design and was chosen by vote. And then it was voted that you could have two months to stitch a head start on it! :) The Kodama will release to the public at the end of October / beginning of November.
I added five new color palettes for Link mostly inspired by his Super Smash Bros alternate costumes. I had a lot of fun creating the Fierce Deity version! I had to really stretch my brain to figure out how to add his unique sword into the design. Then I went a little extra and replaced the Korok leaf with Majora. :) And then I went even more extra and created items for his bottle!
Ariel similarly got three new color palettes, but these are inspired instead by Hannah Alexander's early "concept" art stage, before she finalized the design. I've always admired the pink versions (of course...) and the revamp gave me the perfect excuse to revisit and add them into the pattern.
Bisexuality is a commissioned pattern that will become public in just a few weeks. The original art is by Richard Ellescas and featured as the cover for a 1974 Cosmopolitan magazine. To the best of my and the commissioner's abilities, I think it's safe to release this design. But if it ever becomes an issue I'll take it back down. :)
Happy stitching!
Pinky
